Compare like-for-like quotes
For a separate-versus-combined comparison, keep the destination, contents and currency consistent. Obtain dimensions for each packing option instead of adding item weights and assuming the same billing result. Compare what each quote includes before comparing its total.
If packaging changes, an item is removed or the route changes, revisit the estimate. This worksheet does not calculate a final landed cost, determine import eligibility or guarantee that consolidation saves money.
